Paper Submission Guidelines

All authors with accepted papers (lectures and posters) at AES 2014 are invited to submit an extended version of their paper for the conference proceedings before 10 November, 2014. Submitting a full paper is not mandatory but is highly recommended. These full-papers will have the opportunity for consideration in one of the 3 Special Journal Issues associated with this meeting (see details below).

Full-length paper preparation

Please follow the instructions below carefully to prepare your manuscript:

Paper Preparation

  • Do Not Include headers, footers or page numbers.
  • Do Not Use Symbols, Special Characters, or Math in Paper Title or Abstract.
  • Please note that no additional content editing will be performed after submission has been completed.

Paper Format

  • For authors who choose to use Microsoft Word, a template can be downloaded here.
  • For preparing the paper using LaTEX, please click here for further instructions.
  • It is best to start writing your paper by entering the text into the template, to make sure that all formatting is correct.
  • The information on page layout and formatting can be found in the templates.

Summary Submission

Please use one of the options below to submit your summary:

  • Option 1: Upload your paper (only doc or pdf files are accepted) using our online form. This option is highly recommanded.
  • Option 2: Send you paper (only doc or pdf files are accepted) as an email attachment to the conference secretary: contact@mysymposia.org.

Special Issues

If you wish your paper to be considered for publication in one of the 3 special issues, please indicate so in your email or use a cover letter for your full-length paper.

1) Applied Physics A

 

Special issue of the Applied Physics A (Springer). Acceptance for publication in the journal is subject to peer review and the journal still reserves the right to refuse the publication of any paper that does not meet the journal's standards of acceptability. The number of pages is limited to 6 pages for regular papers, 12 pages for invited papers and up to 20 pages for keynote papers.

If you choose this journal, simply indicate it in the cover letter of your full-paper, do not submit to the journal directly.

 

2) European Physical Journal - Applied Physics (EPJ AP)

 

Special issue of the European Physical Journal - Applied Physics. All manuscripts will be subject to the usual selection process including the peer review procedure. The acceptance for presentation at the conference will not be a guarantee that the paper will also be included in the special issue.

If you choose this journal, simply indicate it in the cover letter of your full-paper, do not submit to the journal directly.

 

3) Advanced Electromagnetics

 

Special issue of the journal Advanced Electromagnetics. All manuscripts will be subject to the usual selection process including the peer review procedure. The acceptance for presentation at the conference will not be a guarantee that the paper will also be included in the special issue.

If you choose this journal, an additional submission of your full-paper to the journal is necessary (aemjournal.org). Please use the journal's templates to prepare your new paper.
